HEALTH WARNING ALERT – CORONA VIRUS (COVID-19) OUTBREAK
Elemera ensures that our employees are kept safe in their workplace. We encourage the use of alternative means of communication such as telephone, Internet conferencing and emails whenever possible. If these methods of communication are not possible and visitors are required to visit any of our facilities, we require a basic screening process to be carried out prior to admission.
All visitors must follow Safehouse’s safe working practices:
- Wash your hands with soap and water often, for at least 20 seconds when entering and leavin;
- Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available;
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze;
- Put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards;
- Do not shake hands or any other physical contact with people;
- Maintain minimum of 2 meters social distancing. If this is not possible the PPE must be worn;
- Follow any one-way system that is in place;
- There is no access to any canteen facilities.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL VISITORS
Our warehouse conducts many hazardous activities that have the potential to cause harm to persons and property, including but not limited to, forklift operation, compressed air, pressure washing operation, rotating machinery, hot work, training frame activities and loading / unloading stock. Please be aware of these activities and stay with your designated guide at all times during your stay here.
WALKWAYS
The walkways are clearly marked in yellow in the warehouse. Always stay within the walkways where possible.
EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
In the event of an emergency, leave the building by the nearest safe exit and report to the evacuation point as directed.
Our muster point is located at the front of car park of our office building. You will be informed of our evacuation procedure.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Your safety is important to us. Please remain in the company of the person you are visiting. You have a responsibility to care for your own and other’s health and safety.
We have a First Aid Kit & Safety Representatives on site that are Workplace First Aid trained. Please report any hazards, accidents and / or injuries. Any incident or accident whilst on the premises must be reported immediately.
TRAINING FRAME
To use the training frame, you will need to do a separate training frame induction. This applies to personnel that will be working on or around the training frame.
FACILITIES
Kitchen facilities are available where you will find tea and coffee. Male and female toilets are located inside the warehouse. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
